2.How do I hire the right expert?
Xpertlex has already done the research for you. Navigate our extensive list of categories and subcategories and browse expert profiles to find the ideal expert.
Each expert profile will contain detailed information on each expert, namely their field of expertise, specific domains of practice, past experiences as an expert witness and more.
Use the contact information provided on each expert profile, contact your selected expert to ensure they are the right match and available to provide expertise on your file.
How do payments work?
Xpertlex recognizes that lawyers require experts occasionally or frequently. As such, we have created three different payment options:
-Pay per access membership: Pay a fee of $$ to access each subcategory of experts or;
-Yearly membership: Pay a yearly fee of $$ to have full unlimited access use to our database or;
-Personalized Membership: Pay $$ for a personalized service
Xpertlex payments are processed through PayPal, a secure payment system.

How do I pay the hired Expert Witness?
Expert witnesses charge a professional fee for their services. Upon contacting your selected expert, you can discuss their professional fees with them. It is recommended that professional fees be fully settled before testimony to avoid any perception of bias.

How do I get started?
-How do I register? Sign up to Xpertlex by creating an account for yourself or for your firm. Once you have an account, decide between our various payment options. Either pay to have a one time access to each subcategory or get a yearly membership to our database. Once you’ve done that, you are ready to browse our expert profiles.
-What do I do after I register? Once you have registered, go to our find your expert tab where you will find an extensive list of expert witness categories. From there browse our sub-categories and expert profiles to find the ideal expert for your file. -
How often will I be charged?
There are three payment options, charges will depend on which option you select when signing up.
-Yearly membership:If you choose a yearly membership, you will be charged the annual rate of $$ for unlimited access to our database.
-Pay per access membership:If you choose a per-subcategory membership, you will be charges $$ per subcategory accessed.

Yes, they have. Xpertlex has taken the time to do the research for you. We have found experts that have are specialised in their field and have already testified before, ensuring that you have access to the best quality experts for your file.

What if I do not find the expert I need?
If you are unable to find the expert you need, contact us at info@xpertlex.ca and let us know what you are looking for. We will do the research for you and find the ideal expert for your file.

What is Xpertlex’s refund policy?
-Yearly Membership: If you have acquired a yearly membership to our database and want to cancel your membership, we will only offer a 50% refund if the membership is cancelled within the first 30 days of purchase. After the first 30 days have passed, you will no longer be eligible for a refund.
-Pay per access membership:If you change your mind after signing up, but before accessing our subcategories, you will not be charged. Once you have clicked a subcategory, you will be charged a non-refundable fee.
-Personalized membership:If you have a personalized membership, we are only responsible for providing you names and contact information for the type of expert you require. No refunds will be available.
